In general responsible for the day to day finances. Additionally responsible for including but not limited to Month End reporting, Monthly Forecasting of both P&Ls and balance sheets; reviewing Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations; budget preparation and presentation; VAT submission and other various monthly and quarterly reporting. There will also be some accounting tasks.
Scope of work
- Responsible for the day to day finances for Norway area
- Responsibility for the accurate and timely completion of the month end close process as per finance reporting timetable. This includes reviewing of journals posted by management accountants, reviewing P&Ls and completion of all month end reports to be submitted to Region.
- Perform analytical review of management accounts on a monthly basis and liaise with operations in order to explain variances actual versus forecast / budget. T
- Responsibility for the monthly & quarterly forecasting liaising with operations and BD to ensure a good understanding of upcoming business activities and costs. This includes conducting meetings with operations and BD, inputting of information into TM1, reviewing and explaining variances from budget and previous forecasts.
- Completion of annual budget process including arrangement and participation in meetings with operations & business development to agree budget revenue and also cost assumptions.
- Credit control - oversee the follow-up and chasing of customer receipts to ensure monthly receipts targets are met.
- Review of weekly cash forecast and weekly accrued income schedule submitted to Region team.

- Review of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Qualifications
- Possess a formal degree as bachelor or similar
- 3-5 years commercial experience. Commercial experience can replace formal degree.
- Good computing skills – use of excel, SAP and company software
- Self motivated and happy to actively involved in day to day tasks
- Good communication skills
