As Operational Excellence Manager at QPharma you will play a key role in creating and driving a company culture that strives for operational excellence through continuous improvement.
Your role
As OpEx manager you will play a key role in creating and driving a company culture that strives for operational excellence through continuous improvement. You will collaborate with the senior management team and other stakeholders to identify high impact improvement projects that will drive efficiency and cost savings across the organization.
You will build up and lead the Operational Excellence team in developing and delivering manufacturing excellence measured through clearly defined objectives and operational KPIs. Emphasis will be on building a high commitment and high-performance driven culture where continuous improvement is central to our way of working.
The position will include both operational and strategic responsibilities such as:
- Build companywide capability by training and coaching teams on the use of Lean methodologies, such as continuous improvement, 5S, standardisation, visual management
- Identify and prioritize high impact improvement projects through analysis of business processes, operational metrics, and other channels
- Lead the implementation of improvement projects and review performance against set targets
- Create process maps and documentation for existing and future processes
- Drives data analytics and dashboard development to identify waste and troubleshoot operational issues
- Define key metrics, such as OEE, for performance measurement and tracking within the functional departments
You will report directly to the VP Operations and be a part of the Operations Management Team.
Your profile
We are looking for an experienced Operational Excellence Manager with a solid track record from fast paced manufacturing environments, preferably within the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
This is your preferred background:
- College or university degree; Finance / Business / Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Lean and/or Six Sigma training and experience required. Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.
- Project management skills
- Demonstrated experience of driving operational cultural change
- Comfortable learning new systems and operating within those systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
- Fluent in both English and Swedish
