On behalf of our client within the oil & gas industry, our client has a requirement for a HR Advisor in Tananger.
The HR Advisor supports the Human Resources (HR) Function through providing a professional HR service to Line Management and employees. The HR Advisor is accountable for planning, coordinating and delivering all HR activities within their area of responsibility.
Key responsibilities:
• Advise business areas on company standards related to "AML" - Norwegian Work Environment Act, and national and local tariff agreements
• Advise line managers on matters related to employee lifecycle processes, generalities of employment contracts, common HR policies, and personnel handbooks, regulations, etc.
• Advise line managers on rules related to; working hours, sick leave, recruitment, terminations, lay-offs, etc.
• Contribute and engage in building a strong and healthy working environment across departments and locations
• Be key partner in sick leave follow up and preventive work
• Monitor adherence to established policies and practices
• Maintain changes to existing policies/procedures to ensure compliance with new or proposed agreements/legislation
• Maintain employment contracts, job descriptions, salary overviews, and employee files
• Issue and maintain all changes in employment contracts, and terms, also in IFS system, and related systems
• Actively communicate, inform and collaborate with HR colleagues, line managers, and employees to ensure good working processes and positive environment
Qualifications:
• Bachelor or Master within Business Administration, Human Resources or related field, relevant experience may weigh up for lack of formal education
• Minimum 5 years' experience from a Human Resources generalist role, preferably in oil-related, drilling, services, or technology areas
• Good understanding of employee lifecycle processes, generalities of employment contracts, common HR policies, and personnel handbooks, regulations, etc.
• Proven ability to drive HR projects and deliver to completion
• Willingness to perform HR tasks from A to Z
• Excellent Norwegian and English language skills, spoken and written
