BW LNG is in the early steps of exploring and using sensor data from our fleet, while also integrating key data from our core systems. We have lots of interesting challenges and ambitious goals for using analytics to solve these and become the world’s most efficient shipping company.
As Data Engineer at BW LNG you will be a central part of the IT and Digitalization team. We are organized in an agile cross-functional team working closely with the business side to solve important challenges. Our team work on emission reductions, improving ship efficiency, providing decision support for ship captains and shore staff, reducing fuel consumption, and optimizing cargo management. We do not think we can solve this by ourselves and do believe that close cooperation and data sharing with our partners is part of the solution, and where the Data Engineer can play a crucial role.
