Scope
This document describes the responsibilities, tasks and profile of the needed role, Microsoft Adoption Expert with proven experience in change management, communitation, training and adoption activities on the Microsoft platform.
Objective(s)
The Business Appplication team within Yara IT is aiming at making the Power Platform the low-code platform and have started the journey building this new capability. The objective of the document is to clarify the overall responsibilities, main tasks, key interfaces and required functional skills, personal skills and capabilities and formal education of the resource needed.
Candidate qualification
- The candidate must be based Oslo, Norway
- The candidate must have 3 years experience with training, communication and adoption work on the Microsoft platform
- The candidate must be able to travel 10 days a year
- The candidate must speak and write in English fluently
Role Description
4.1 Overall Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Reports to Senior Manager, Business Application, Global Platforms & Infrastructure, Yara IT
- Plan and drive project communication activites
- Develop and execute training and adoption activities
- Stay current on relevant new technology within Microsoft’s ecosystem
Main Tasks
- Agile team member

- Active contribution in the agile ceremonies
- Grooming and planning of backlog
- Demo sessions and sharing of success stories
- Training, communication and adoption
- Plan and host webinars
- Create communication strategy and execute it
- Create training and relevant e-learning
- Connect and grow the citizen developer community
- Technology watch
- Stay current on technology products and trends
- Propose improvements based on innovative use of technology

4.6 Formal Education
- M.Sc. or Bachelor’s degree within Business Administration or similar
- Change managment certifications are preferred
