Euroclear Sweden is looking for a team member to our Quality & Assurance and Control team to join us in building tomorrow's financial infrastructure. As the Swedish Central Securities Depository, we hold the register for almost all shares and debt instruments, keep the book entry register and settle securities transactions.
The Quality Assurance and Control team is a unit within our Business Operations and has the objective of defining and implementing risk controls and to regularly conduct assurance reviews to ensure that all operational risks are monitored, managed, and mitigated. We assess the design and effectiveness of processes and report on issues and needed improvements, supporting the process owners achieving their process objectives. The unit provides an independent view of first line controls and acts as risk champion and seeks to continuously stimulate risk awareness within the Business Operations department
In your role, you will
- Provide advisory services to Business Operations in design and evolution of controls, implementation, trainings, monitoring and testing
- Help and advice Business Operations in the mapping of their internal controls with internal policies and external regulations
- Review and provide assurance on the established control environment for the Business Operations department
- Regularly test controls on a recurring or ad-hoc basic
- Be responsible for the Continuous Improvement process, coordinating improvement activities across the Business Operations organisation
- Ensuring processes are designed effectively and efficiently
- Periodically review and/or identify manual interventions and single points of failures in Business Operational processes
- Coordination and support during internal audits
- Support Business Operations management with risk management activities

You are
- Interested in identifying improvements and finding solutions
- Comfortable to take decisions within your area of responsibility
- Pragmatic with the capacity to keep things simple
- Self-driven and able to organize/accomplish work efficiently and autonomously, seeking advice/support and escalating when necessary
- Value and maintain a high level of integrity
- Communicate at different levels and adopt a flexible and consultative approach depending on the target audience
- Have strong analytical skills and a critical mind
You have
- More than 5 years’ experience from working with process development and implementation
- Audit / quality assurance experience
- Very good skills in process development and documentation
- Fluency in Swedish and English and good communications skills, both written and spoken.
