Cenate is in the preparatory phase of establishing its first commercial scale factory that will produce new and proprietary EV battery materials that are better than all materials used by this market today. We are therefore looking for a senior project manager who will be responsible for planning and managing the engineering and construction of this factory.

The position is newly established and will become part of the senior management team and will report to the CEO.
Some prioritized responsibilities and working tasks will be:
The candidate will be responsible for the entire work process, from front end engineering and design to establishing the documentation necessary for financing and investment decisions as well as execution of the construction project. This involves tasks such as site selection, preparing the basis for permitting and investment decisions, establishing and leading a project team, select collaboration partners, follow-up contractors and suppliers, and follow up errors and deficiencies in connection with start-up. Progress and risks in the project shall be reported to the management team. Good information flow and communication in the project with all stakeholders involved must be ensured. Technical and economic optimization within the scope of the project shall be assessed.
We desire a candidate with documented experience within several of the following topics:
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience
- Master of Engineering or similar, preferably in combination with formal training and certification in project management
- Experience with Front End Engineering and Design in the chemical or petrochemical industry
- Proven track record of successful execution of complex industrial projects
- Familiar with HSE requirements in the chemical industry, including both the engineering phase and operations.
- Preferably experience with scaling new production/process technology
