Job Description:
- The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all activities and technical issues related to maintenance discipline comply with RNAS HSE Policy, plans, procedures and regulations. Support assets and projects with technical acknowledge and proactively striving for continuous improvement within maintenance discipline. Execute task within given frames and assist assets and project and business unit to achieve their performance goals.
- Responsibility
- Discipline Engineer and Job Engineer in projects.
- Document Responsible and Document Reviewer for governing documentation.
- Ensure operational excellence in assets and projects through provision of professional 2. line technical support, expertise and engineering services within Maintenance and Inspection Management.
- Perform as focal point and ensure proactive leadership and management of Maintenance and Inspection Management in all relevant managements systems and work processes, particularly maintenance-, inspection-, modification-, barrier- and risk management.
- Provide technical advice and recommendations within Maintenance and Inspection Management, and ensure necessary involvement from Line Manager.
- Ensure safe and cost-effective focus in all work and provide technically sound contributions in accordance with Regulatory Requirements, Company Standards and good engineering practice.
- Exercise professional representation of Maintenance and Inspection Management towards all internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure development and implementation of personal annual goals in support of Company goals, strategies and values.
- Monitor industry developments within Maintenance and Inspection Management and promote technological innovations in support of Company goals, strategies and values.
- Maintain and develop personal technical expertise and skill-set within Maintenance and Inspection Management, including Regulatory Requirements and Company Standards.
Qualifications:
- Degree MSc degree with Reliability Engineer or similar
- Special Knowledge required
- Familiarity with Norwegian rules and regulations and relevant industry standards (e.g. NORSOK)
- Professional experience : Minimum 10 years relevant experience (maintenance/inspection planning, operation & engineering, and reliability knowledge)
- Software skills
- Ability to learn and make use of typical work related software (MS Office, MS Access, PIMS, Assai, SAP, MaintWeb, Sharepoint, Synergi)

- OREDA and statistical knowledge.
