We are looking for an analytical, business-oriented and ambitious Global Business Development Manager for our international organisation. You will have a vital function in the growth and long-term success of the company.
At Wattif you will be part of a highly competent team. You will be responsible for identifying, analysing and investing in growth opportunities. The position will report to the CEO.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing all Mergers & Acquisitions
Responsible for implementing all Joint Ventures
Constantly searching for new opportunities within the current market
Constantly searching for new opportunities within alternative markets
Point of contact for all M & A compliance queries, both internal & external
Owner & manager of all M & A analysis materials & tools
Reports to the BoD for all M & A activity when needed
Provide competitor analysis & market analysis as a service to CEO & BoD
Qualifications
MBA or MSc with specialism in Finance
Preferably 10 years’ experience from a related industry, with international exposure to M & A processes
Knowledge of both comparable & fundamental valuation techniques
Ability to provide informed analysis to CEO & BoD for any given target including key ratio metrics
Strong business understanding and knowledge of our value chain
Competent public speaker able to engage BoD, media outlets & regulatory organisations
Can demonstrate track record of M & A completion
Skilled negotiator
Fluent in Norwegian & English language both written & spoken
The position will be in Bergen, Norway. You must expect travelling, also on short notice.
