On behalf of our client, Marlink AS, we are looking for a Network Project Engineer to be based in their Stavanger office to work with the preparation and configuration of our offshore maritime satellite network communication hardware.

Main Tasks
- Configure and prepare new network HW before shipment to our customers, including but not limited to, routers, switches, portals, firewalls, access points
- Perform changes on existing network solutions
- Working closely in a team internally in delivery and contribute to other network departments in Marlink
- Customer contact during roll out process
- Give feedback to Project Managers on ongoing tasks
- Verify that solutions are working according to the requirements
- Documentation of solutions
Qualifications & Professional skills
- Cisco CCNA or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent
- Good written and verbal English language skills
- IP and networking
Desirable qualifications
- • Fortinet NSE or equivalent
- • Knowledge of Networking equipment such as Routers, switches, firewalls, WiFi, PBX, IP voice
- • Microsoft Visio
- • Programming languages, scripting
