    Job Description

    This role requires strong programming skills, understanding of embedded systems, and experience with hardware interfacing. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated team player with a passion for automation and a commitment to quality.

    The Senior Application Software Engineer position will be located in Oslo, Norway, and reports to Team lead Application Software.

    In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing applications for T&L products, as well as creating tools and interfaces for seamless product integration. Your duties will include developing testing modules for automated testing routines, ensuring the specification, development, testing, and documentation of software.

    Effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders are essential to gain a strong understanding of project/product requirements. Additionally, you will actively participate in troubleshooting and triaging issues, working with various teams to identify and resolve root causes.

    Collaboration with colleagues across multiple teams and mentoring other developers will be part of your responsibilities. Lastly, providing support to sales, production, and Mettler-Toledo technicians in the field is integral to the success of the role.
