Poseidon recently closed Series B Financing. The funds raised will expand Poseidon’s manufacturing capacity and support the Company’s growth and delivery of their industry leading, turnkey, Life Support Systems and Hybrid Sea Cage Systems. These technologies combine to form a compelling value proposition for modern salmon farming operations; increasing yields, reduced operating costs and improved environmental outcomes.
Based on this recent development, Poseidon now seeks a Commercial Manager-Europe. This position will report to the CEO.
This high-achieving hire will be a key part of our strategic growth plans. Based in Europe, this person will work with the corporate team to develop the overall business plan and manage existing partners.
Main responsibilities include:
- Business development, with an emphasis on the Scottish market.
- Supporting and managing existing distributor partners in Europe and Oceania.
- Developing the sales strategy/road map.
- Contributing to KPI planning.
- Ability to keep up to date with changes in the market and competition.
- Commitment to frequent communication with the corporate team.
- Update the internal contact database, as needed.
- Deliver successfully on a sales quotas..
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5-8 years of aquaculture experience
- Knowledge of the cage replacement cycle and technical products, preferred
- Knowledge of life support systems within aquaculture, preferred
- Background in technical sales
- Willing to travel
- Deep relationships and Rolodex within European aquaculture
- Ability to communicate technical information
- Excellent verbal skills
- Computer proficiency, ERP experience is a plus
- Administrative acumen
