COSL Drilling Europe was established in 2005, and has its head office located in Stavanger, Norway. Today we operate four modern drilling units. We have a solid owner with stable ratings in China Oilfield Services Limited, listed at the Shanghai Stock Exchange, with ambitions to strengthen its foothold in the North Sea.
Our four semi-submersible drilling rigs were delivered from the yard respectively in November 2010 (COSLPioneer), November 2011 (COSLInnovator), May 2012 (COSLPromoter) and November 2014 (COSLProspector). The first drilling operations started in Norway in August 2011 and COSL Drilling Europe has since then been in continuous operation drilling and completing wells in Norway, UK, Faroe Islands and New Zealand.
The drilling units are of a similar design and have all proven strong and consistent performance deliveries.
Our rig portfolio has a proven track record of having the most efficient and best-performing rigs in the North Sea. COSL is setting a new standard in the North Sea with its energy efficiency. Our ambition is to deliver carbon neutral drilling operations within 2025.
Join Our Team as a Rig Account !
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Billing to Client and collect payments, including re-charges and intercompany
- Responsible for routine accounting work of rig cost center in COSL Offshore Management AS, and the rig owner companies
- Approval of invoices in Eyeshare. The routine consist of review finance accounts and cost center, correct VAT treatment, project number and correct expense period. Also control of authorization according to POA
- Monthly follow up and accounting of Stock transactions based on reports from Star
- Ensure that open POs, invoices and other performed activities are reviewed with the Maint. Supt./Rig Manager and accrued
- Analyze of payroll elements vs. Budget
- Prepare monthly, reporting for COSL management in liaison with Rig Manager and Maintenance Manager, and participate in monthly cost meeting with COSL Management
- Prepare forecast and budget in liaison with Rig Manager and Maintenance Supervisor
- Balance sheet reconciliations
Qualifications/ Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelors degree in economics
- 2 years experience from similar position
- Familiar with Norwegian Accounting GAAP
- Familiar with IFRS and SOX is preferred
- Experience in Drilling industry is preferred
- Written and spoken Norwegian proficiency is required
