Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Location: NG15, Nottingham
Start Date: September 2025
Pay Scale: £90 - £105 per day
Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term (25 Weeks)

The Role:
Education World is looking for a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support a welcoming primary and nursery school in the NG15 area of Nottingham. This is a general classroom-based role, providing support to pupils across a range of ages and abilities. You will work closely with the class teacher to support learning, help manage behaviour, and contribute to a positive classroom environment.

What We’re Looking For:
We are seeking someone who:

• Has previous experience working in a primary or early years setting

• Is confident supporting pupils of all abilities

• Works well as part of a team and on their own initiative

• Is reliable, patient, and proactive

• Holds a valid DBS on the Update Service or is willing to apply for one

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the class teacher with day-to-day classroom tasks

• Working with small groups or individual pupils to support learning

• Assisting in the preparation of classroom materials and activities

• Promoting positive behaviour and helping to manage any challenges

• Encouraging pupil engagement and participation
