Are you looking for a hands-on job as a forklift operator in a busy production environment? In cooperation with Thermo-Transit, we are now hiring someone who enjoys physical work and wants to contribute to an essential part of the food industry. This is a summer position with the possibility of extension and quick start.
What the job involves:
You will join the team at a well-established seafood producer in Frogner, Akershus. The work takes place in chilled warehouse and production areas, with temperatures between 4 and 8 degrees. You will mainly operate a forklift and handle fresh fish, primarily salmon.
Your tasks include:
- Driving forklift in warehouse and terminal.
- Loading and unloading goods.
- Handling boxes of fish.
- Supporting an efficient workflow.
- Following hygiene and food safety procedures.
Who we are looking for:
You need to be able to work shifts, handle physically demanding tasks, and be comfortable with repetitive work in a fast-paced setting. This role suits someone who is practical, reliable, and takes responsibility.
You must have:
- A valid forklift license.
- Availability to work shifts (day, evening, night).
- Good communication skills in Norwegian or English.
- Access to a car or ability to commute to Frogner.
- Good physical condition and experience with manual work.
It is a plus if you:
- Have previous forklift experience.
- Are accurate and follow hygiene procedures.
- Are flexible and work well with others.
