Job description
- Responsible for IM Support Management
- Follow up and advisor for IM Developers
- Manage application configuration and upgrades, and problem analysis and resolution for complex application problems, in conjunction with the users and external application or service suppliers where necessary
- Define, develop and provide an application problem analysis and resolution service for complex application problems in conjunction with the users and application suppliers
- Responsible for the Change Advisory Board process in the company
- Improve application functionality and performance and provide suggestions for system and business improvements
- Ensure effective interface with IT operation supplier
- Act as a mentor for IFS Administrators and seek to develop best practice for effective use of systems
- Ensure that the business application systems, are developed, maintained and supported in order to achieve the efficient and effective delivery of services and information
- Contribute to process improvements through Lean methodology
- Ensure that our HSE, Q, and Risk requirements are implemented in our system design
- Give assistance to the DA's in developing and maintaining the work methods, processes, procedures and checklists for the Department
- Give assistance to the DA's in the performance of the role of technical expert for the disciplines in the Department
- Give assistance to the DA's in the performance of continuous improvement activities in the Department
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as System analyst
- Experience as leader of System Development projects
