For our customer we are looking for a Package Manager.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop Control Plan for the package
- Ensure that the package team is familiar with contractual requirements
- Ensure that level of Quality Control (QC), given in the Control Plan and Criticality Evaluation, is implemented in the ITP’s.
- Define and ensure that necessary tools and test equipment is available for the package FAT
- Ensure delivery according to contractual dates by expediting engineering, procurement and plant activities
- Perform corrective actions and/or improvements in response to project review/audit findings
- Ensure Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), deviation requests, concession requests are approved
- Manage internal/external interfaces for the package. If nominated; Project coordinator can be responsible
- Manage Management of change (MOC’s) for the package by ensuring MOC’s are identified, raised and progressed for approval
- Manage the work package performance budget and ensure that work package resources are cost efficiently applied throughout the project lifecycle by regular review of risks and cost
- Provide input to Lessons Learned database
- Manage and motivate the Package Team. Lead by example in demonstrating our Core Values
- Ensure adherence to global and local procedures / work practices, including compliance project reviews
- Manage Package Spare Parts List(s)
- Ensure approved supplier documentation (SDL) before shipment of the part(s)
- Monitor that the Master Document List (MDR) is made for the package
- Ensure approved MDR package documentation
- Ensure SJA (safe job analysis)/HARCs are carried out according to schedule and project requirements
- Prepare for assembly and FAT by performing PPM, HARC, SJA, both internal and external
- Ensure Mechanical Completion (MC) are established and monitor punch closure
- Ensure that test procedures are signed and recorded in TC for final documentation
- Ensure required delivery documentation (shipping dossier) and Release Notes (Certificate of Compliance)
- Ensure that Delivery Notes are created in SAP for Sales Order line items
- Manage Package close out activities
- Ensure engineering release of item on time
- Initiate/monitor/participate in Design Reviews and audits
- Monitor that Engineering Level 5 Plan is established for the package according to schedule and MDR
- Approve supplier Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and ensure inspection progress according to schedule
- Provide information on item(s) extension details (make, buy, sub-con, schedule dates etc) and ensure that full scope is reflected in Plant BOM
- Ensure procurement cost and schedule versus budgeted baseline
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor (3 years) with relevant Engineering/Business administration degree.
- Relevant work experience and ERP system knowledge is desirable.
